I have to admit, I am such a whore when it comes to superhero adaptations. I think I have seen them all. And in spite of my hatred of anything Marian, I am willing to give her new show a try.
There were already speculations that she will be wearing the red bikini when Angel Locsin decided to move to ABS-CBN and hamburgers. I think Angel is not the best actress but she was built for the role. After her obvious weight gain in her current drama, Only You, sister needs to work out to fit in anything resembling the Darna costume.
Anyway, back to the new Darna. It will be premiering tomorrow night and I decided to watch it. I wanted to recap the entire thing, just to get back into the writing recaps. I will try to be as objective as I can.
Looking at the promos for the show, I am not going to raise my expectations. I guess I will give my initial reactions tomorrow. I just hope this show will at least look good.
